I remember when his page was practically the only page in the universe. With a writing style that appealed to us geeks who like to be fed the facts in a raw and straight to the point manner, Maddox was always our man.
Those were the old days, back in 90s when blue was dabadee, or was it dabadie? Either way, Maddox decided to speak when the iPhone came out delighting 1.6 million readers. (I’d like to hear his opinion on what I call the nPhone, Nokia’s direct copy of the iPhone.) This brought Maddox out of repressed long-term memory and back into the scattered short term memory I seem to have.
So, tonight, I had the urge to check his website to see if he’s made any new posts. Of course not. Oh no, what am I to do? Scrolling around I saw a link to the Alphabet of Manliness. I was surprised to find out it was Maddox’s book. He wrote a book. That is all, I am considering purchasing it, which would hopefully result in enhancing my ability to be a funny asshole.
Link to the book: Alphabet of Manliness for those who did not want to read my shpiel.
